This traditional Icelandic Lopapeysa Pullover is knit from the bottom up in the round. First the torso is worked to the underarms with German short row shaping to raise up the back of the neck and set aside; then both sleeves worked to the underarm. The three pieces are joined together at the yoke where the colorwork begins.
The ribbed collar is folded in half and whipstitched into place.

It was originally designed for my 2022 October and November Iceland Fire & Ice Knitting Tour.
