”Smell the sea, feel the sky. Let your soul and spirit fly.”
Into the Mystic by Van Morrison

When you are near the sea, your eyes are drawn to that special place where the sea touches the sky. As you stare at the horizon you can smell the sea and feel the ocean breeze. It’s truly a place where you can let your soul and spirit fly!

My Where Sky Meets Sea scarf starts with a few stitches and ends with a few stitches. Rows are crocheted on a diagonal, with easy-to-memorize row repeats. And it’s a one skein project!!

The bottom decrease edge of the scarf has an edging that resembles waves, that is crocheted as you go. So, when you get to the last few stitches you are finished!

This is a pattern that will calm your mind and is very relaxing to crochet. And, it’s a true one skein project, using one skein of fingering or sock weight yarn of at least 420 yards. I used the MadelineTosh Tosh Mo Light yarn in the color “Patagonia”.

Find your own skein of beautiful fingering yarn in any color you choose, think about that beautiful place where the sky meets the sea, and enjoy the relaxation that comes with crocheting this simple scarf!
