This hap is designed with classic features in mind. I wanted to create a piece that would sit very well over the shoulders without fuss or fidget. The sections and eyelet increase panels help to accomplish this.
The Whiskey Creek Hap consists of two sections. The main body in stockinette stitch is worked in the main color (MC), from top down. And the lower lace panel in garter stitch is worked in the contrasting color (CC), which is worked side to side, binding off as you go. The effect is a comfortable, practical hap with a splash of style and flow. This pattern was written for two yarn bases (Kennebec by Maine Yarn & Fiber Supply & Green Line by Jagger Spun), you are invited to choose the one that speaks to you.
