Pricing update: I have increased my prices to more accurately represent the work that has gone into the making of my patterns. All my patterns have increased in prices, however my newer designs have increased more than my old ones, as I feel I have learned a lot over the years and the quality of my newer designs is higher. The price listed reflects what I believe is fair for the work put into the design, however I understand that the price increases may be inaccessible to some and am offering some tiered discounts for those that need them.

A “Choose What You Pay” model is available for this pattern, allowing both financial accessibility and fair pricing. The buyer may pay what they are able while still valuing the hard work invested to create this design. Use the codes below in order to pay the price listed after each. Choose whichever price works best for you!

  • No Code – Full Price = $12.00 CAD
  • PK10 – 10% off = $10.80 CAD
  • PK20 – 20% off = $9.60 CAD
  • PK30 – 30% off = $8.40 CAD

I also offer a Buy 3, Get 1 Free discount! Add any 4 of my patterns to your cart, and use the code BUY3GET1 to get the 4th pattern free! Note: the free pattern will be the lowest priced pattern.

The White Noise Sweater is designed to be a simple, cozy V-neck sweater that has a unique marled effect due to the use to a bulky and lace yarn held together. It has a V-neck front and is worked top down. The sleeves are a straight sleeve that results in a slight flared look at the bottom. The bottom hem is a 1x1 ribbed hem, and features a short side split hem. The sweater is designed to fall to a long crop level. The pattern will have options for waist shaping if desired, and customizing length. It is a #sizeinclusive design.

Sizes offered: 30 (34, 38, 42) {46, 50, 54} (58, 62, 66, 70)
these sizes reflect the FINISHED bust measurement
Sizes 58, 66 and 70 are untested. If you are interested in making this sweater in one of those sizes, I can send you the pattern for free in exchange for feedback.

Needles required:
8 mm for body and sleeves (24 inch to start the v-neck, and 40+ inch cords for the body, plus 16 inch or DPNs for sleeves)
6.5 mm for bottom ribbing
may need other size needles to meet gauge

Gauge:
12 sts = 4 inches
14 rows = 4 inches (stockinette, in the round)

Yarn required: any bulky weight yarn (I used Knitpicks Biggo) and lace yarn (I used Knitpicks Luminance) to match gauge

You could also use a slub yarn in place of a lace yarn for a more textured marling look!

Yardage required:
Bulky - 375 (450, 525, 600) {660, 750, 810} (900, 930, 1010, 1060)
Lace - 375 (450, 525, 600) {660, 750, 810} (900, 930, 1010, 1060)
yardage is an approximation, and is calculated using the long crop length. Allow for extra yardage if choosing to do any modifications
