White Snows of Winter is a full sized lace shawl that is a stylized representation of a snowflake. The main pattern is repeated to create the symmetry.

The full snowflake consists of 16 repeats of the main pattern worked in the round. For a partial snowflake, 8 to 16 repeats of the main pattern can be worked flat.

All patterning is on the right side rows/rounds, every other row/round is a rest row/round. No two pattern rows/rounds are the same except for a few in the first clue and in the final clue for the extra large size.

There are four sizing options; small, medium, large, and extra large. The small has 170 rounds/rows (4 clues), the medium has 204 rounds/rows (5 clues), the large has 240 rounds/rows (6 clues), and the extra large has 264 rounds/rows (7 clues).

A note on required yardage.
The yardage estimates are all based on my original swatches. I have a tendency to knit lace rather loosely and block severely.

The pattern includes a swatch chart, which should come out to about 6 inches wide and 3 inches tall (not counting the framing stitches).

Many thanks to katyazag, JudyBlazer, lat0405, aimeeRN, ClematisKnitter, & Annarga for granting permission to use their photos in the pattern.
