These fingerless mitts are a companion to the Whole Note Shawl. Inspired by beautifully written music, the design features a slip-stitch pattern that resembles a whole note positioned on a music staff. This stitch pattern is also included in the back sections of the shawl. The color rhythm repeated throughout the mitts is detailed in the tri-color cast-on and bind-off. To provide for a comfortable fit, this project also includes a thumb gusset and three different rib stitch patterns. Knit in the round, this is a good project for the leftover fingering weight yarn in your stash.

Dimension: approximately 7” long and 6.5” circumference (fits 7.5” hand circumference.

Yarn: Main Color A=40 yards; main color B=40 yards; contrast color=100 yards

Note: Whole Note Shawl is featured at Lucky Ewe Yarn in New Braunfels, TX during the Hill Country Yarn Crawl from October 7-16, 2016. This shawl pattern will be available in thektstudio Ravelry store upon conclusion of yarn crawl.
