I designed this easy-going, color-blocked scarf in hopes of finding a project that is relaxing to knit as well as super cozy to wear. I think the chunky weight of the yarn, the squishy garter stitches, and the mixture of 3 colors make for a very vibrant and fun project. (plus, I think choosing color combos is half the fun!)

The ends of the scarf are streamlined so that they come to asymmetrical points instead of just a flat base. I found that this helps the scarf fold better while wearing it and reduces the bulk a bit if layering under a jacket.

Materials Needed
360 yds of chunky weight yarn in 3 colors (110/140/110 yards of each)
US 10 (6.0mm) needles (straight of circular will both work, scarf is knit flat)
Tapestry needle for wearing in ends
Tape measure

Gauge w/ US 10 needles
12 sts across and 11 rows make a 4”x 4” square in garter stitch

Skills Needed
Garter stitch (knit stitch)
kfb (knit front and back)
ssk (slip, slip, knit)
