This half-circle shawl, inspired by Estonian lace, uses short-rows to display variegated yarn’s lovely color changes. The border is worked at the same time as the center, so there is no need to pick up stitches at the end. A simple crochet picot edging finishes the shoulders. The windmill lace pattern and beautiful yarn work in harmony to create this swirling shawl.

This pattern is charted.
