This shawlette features a simple braided top edge, lightly slanting stockinette stitch and squishy garter stitch. The two halves are worked from the outer tips to the center, then joined on one needle. You can work the two halves separately one at a time or simultaneously on a longer circular needle, using the inside and outside of the ball of yarn.

For the fingering weight version, only one skein of fingering weight yarn is used - Dubai Knits Squishy is 329m/100g, but you can use any yardage you like. The pattern includes information to making sure you have enough yarn to finish it.
You can always lengthen the shawlette, using more than one skein of yarn.

The DK weight version can be done with 2 skeins of DK weight yarn.
