Knit with bulky wool, this headband will chase away the winter chills. The headband is knitted flat and closes with two buttons at the nape of the neck. The flower applique can be omitted if desired. A smaller version of the flower is also included in the pattern.

To make the headband as shown in the photo, use Misti Alpaca Chunky color Natural Cream #NT100. This headband can be made in any bulky wool. The headband will look best in a solid color, and made from a wool that is not too fuzzy. The list of natural fiber yarns provided are suggestions.

It takes approximately 3 hours total to knit and assemble the headband.

The flower can be made in a contrasting color if desired. Or the center of the flower only can be done in a contrasting color.

The pattern includes adjustments for incorrect gauge and for different head sizes.
