This pattern was created as an add-on to the Sommertag Pullover pattern, so it contains two files: “Sommertag Pullover” and “Wintertag Pullover.”

The Wintertag - winter day in German - Pullover is a longer sleeve version Sommertag Sweater, an easy-to-knit sweater with a simple design that can be worn every day without any hesitation. This sweater can be knitted quickly using 6mm US 10 needles. First, the yoke is worked back and forth while increasing stitches at the front V-neck edges and for the back and fronts. Then, stitches are increased for the shoulders. After increasing stitches for the underarms, the fronts are joined while the sleeves are separated at the underarms and the body and sleeves are worked separately in the round to the hem. To finish, stitches are picked up around the V-neck edge and worked in the round.
