Yarn Selection
I used Caron Spa Yarn in color black, but most sport weight or dk yarns work well for this project.
I also used a Lions Brand Mini Skein for contrast yarn though this step is optional.

Skills and Abbreviations
cable cast-on, knitting in the round, decreasing, embroidering decoration with a contrast color

st/s= stitches, k= knit, p= purl, k2tog=knit 2 stitches together, NDL 1, 2, and 3= needle 1, 2 and 3 in the knitting around sequence, ssk= slip 2 stitches as if to knit and knit both together through the back loop, sl1k= slip one stitch as if to knit, sl1p= slip one stitch as if to purl
