Two Sizes Included
This hat features a 1x1 twisted rib that blends into a “wrinkled” cable knit. I made the gray sample (small/medium) and showed it to a friend and they said, “Can you make it in a larger size for those of us ladies that have a lot of hair?” So, there are two hat patterns including a small/medium size in fingering weight yarn (gray), and a medium/large size in sport/DK weight yarn (greenish blue). I’ve included full written instructions as well as charts. The different sizes are created by changing the weight of yarn with minimal changes to the pattern.

Materials
—16-inch circular needles size 2.5 (3mm) for ribbing
— 16-inch circular needles size 3 (3.25mm) for body of hat
— Size 3 (3.25mm) DPNs or secondary circular needles for decrease section
— 1 skein (100g) of fingering weight yarn

— 1 skein (100g) of DK/Sport weight yarn
