This nearly square throw blanket is a fast and cozy knit, worked in an easy-to-remember alternating 1x1 rib stitch, and inspired by the ancient travertine and brick walls that still stand along the western edge of old city Istanbul. Stripes border the beginning and end, with alternating ombre and stripe sections filling the middle field. I-cords neatly enclose the sides as the throw is worked. Note that Galatea yarn is quite soft and flexible, so dimensions may vary.
