The Yoga Cardi is the perfect cardigan for throwing on for a trip to the yoga studio! The design is a long, open cardigan with ribbing and a triangle textured stitch pattern that was inspired by trikonasana (triangle pose). The body is worked flat in one piece to the underarm; it is then separated and the fronts and back are worked separately up to the shoulders to create armholes. The ribbing on the front edge continues up and around the back neck and the bands are seamed together and sewn to the top back edge of the neck. Sleeves are picked up from the armholes and are worked outward from the body. Afterthought pockets are worked and seamed to the inside of the body with a bit of ribbing on the top edge. Knit up in Julie Asselin Nurtured wool yarn, the Yoga Cardi is a great, cozy layering piece that is sure to become a wardrobe staple!
