“For five years I was stranded on an island with only one goal: survive. Now I will fulfill my father’s dying wish - to use the list of names he left me and bring down those who are poisoning my city. To do this, I must become someone else. I must become something else.”

This hood and cowl was inspired by the Green Arrow. The cowl is knit in the round with a cable pattern designed to emulate the arrowhead logo featured in the Arrow TV show on The CW.

The hood is knit separately, and also features a winding cable pattern on the border. The cowl and hood can be worn together (buttoned) or separately. I used about 205g of yarn (451 yards) in total to knit both pieces.

This pattern would also work well as a basis for any cowl with a removable hood, even if you’re not a fan of “the hood.” (although, how can you not be…have you seen Stephen Amell?)

The buttons pictured were purchased at Wildflower Button Studio.
