The Yps cardigan women is a modern, easy to style and easy to wear cardigan. The name Yps is short for Ypsilon (the German word for the letter “Y”) and it’s part of the YPScapsule-Collection YPStop (women),
YPScardigan_kids_teens,
YPScardigan_baby_kids

With unique construction, the cardiganstarts with a split hem from the bottom, then joined at the sides. The body is worked in rows from band edge to band edge, then separated at underarm, with back and fronts using short row stockinette shaping. Next, stitches for the sleeves are cast on and worked together with the upper fronts and back in garter stitch; the sleeves are joined at the shoulders using the 3-needle method. Finally, stitches for the button and buttonhole bands are picked up and worked in garter stitch.
