Yrsa mittens is a pair of mittens knitted in 100% Swedish wool and are my very first pattern that I designed. They came to life through a bunch of creative ideas that turned into a design on paper. They are as wild as they are carefully calculated.

The pattern for these mittens is one-size, and the measurements of the mitten are: Circumference: 21cm/8,3”
Length without the cuff: 20 cm/7,8”
Total length: 25 cm/9,8”
Thumb length from the thumb base: 6,5 cm/2,5”
Thumb circumference: 8 cm/3,15”

The mittens are knitted in Järbo “Svensk ull” 3-ply in two different colors using 3.5 mm/US 4 double-pointed needles. The yarn requirements for the two colors are about 30-50 g each, which means that if you’re lucky, you can knit not just one, but two pairs of Yrsa mittens with just two skeins of yarn.
