This is a rectangular wrap with a textured zig zag ridge pattern running down the center and with stockinette on either side. The pattern is knit side to side with an i-cord selvage included, so no extra finishing is needed when you have finished knitting the pattern. While the original pattern was knit with two skeins of fingering weight yarn, more skeins could be used to make a larger blanket sort of wrap.

Yarns that would work well for this pattern include tonals, solids, stripes, and slightly speckled. Variegated yarns could be used, but the textured zig zag ridge pattern might be harder to see.

I used two different colored skeins for my original wrap, but that is not necessary. Two of the same colors could be used as could several mini skeins. The options are endless!

As can be seen by the project photos, this is a versatile wrap that can be worn in several different ways making it a great addition to your knitting wardrobe.
