Have you ever seen a Purple Prince Zinnia? The bobble rows on this scarf, for some reason, reminded me very strongly on a bunch of those flowers! So, that’s how I came up with the name.
This scarf has an alternating chevron shape that includes back loop double crochets, lace, and bobble stitches that create an absolutely stunning garment!

This pattern is very easily adjusted for length, you can do as many or as few repeats to make it the length that you desire. Mine is 70” long because I usually like my scarves long, but not too long.

The gauge isn’t super important, unless you want to make a very specific width of scarf. I used a combination of Caron One Pound and Big Twist Value yarns. They are both weight 4 Aran weight yarns, but their gauge is slightly different. However, it didn’t effect the overall look of the finished scarf.

Some other yarns that would work for this pattern would be Lion Brand Heartland or Vanna’s Choice, Red Heart With Love, Caron Jumbo, KNIT PICKS Simply Wool Worsted, and Bernat Super Value.

You need about 188 yards of each color, which is about 1 skein of each color regardless of the yarn you choose.

Big Thank you to my testers!
