Welcome to the PISCES pattern of my Zodiac Square series! These quick-to-make squares are perfect for patches, pockets, bags, or larger square-based items.

The pattern is beginner-friendly, only using straight needles and basic knit and purl stitches. There is one slightly trickier technique: adding beads. However, the pattern includes instructions with pictures on how to add beads, and it is a technique which is not beyond the scope for a beginner.

Materials:

• 1x ball of 100g DK yarn (I used Stylecraft Special DK, but any DK will do as long as you meet the gauge)
• 4mm needles
• 19x 3mm beads (with at least a 1mm hole)
• Yarn needle
• Dental floss
• Sewing needle
• Scissors
• Blocking mat and pins (optional)
• Thread (optional)
