Pattern

I didn’t quite follow the pattern for the first few rounds of the pouch. It had turned out lumpy so I ripped the whole thing out to start over. Instead, I began with a magic ring of 10 HDC, and increased every 1, 2, and then 3 stitches to get the circle up to 40 for the base. The drawstring is a 3 stitch i-cord, rather than just a chain.

I was able to get two pouches out of the single ball of tan yarn, by making them only one row shorter than the pattern called for. The second one went much faster, since I knew what modifications I wanted, and didn’t have to crochet the pouch twice.
