I ended up ripping out the first go of the first half, because it was clear I’d run out of yarn prematurely. For v.2, I went with a 64 stitch round, which worked out to be 1 inch narrower than the pattern specs, but was almost perfect for the amount of yarn I was working with. I ended up being one row short, but just did 3 row pair instead of 4 where the two halves joined.

I’m quite happy with how it came out! I struggled to find a pattern that I thought would do justice to the yarn, and I think this worked out perfectly.

Two firsts for this project: first time using handspun yarn, and first time grafting edges with Kitchener stitch.
