Finally pulled this out again to finish! I’d gotten it all done earlier this year, and then found that the sleeves were too long after blocking. The seed stitch edging expanded much more than I’d expected, but fortunately the only place it affected the fit was in the sleeve length. It still felt like a huge setback though, and I just needed to take a mental break for a while and do some other projects. Now I’m wrapping up the year and wanted to check this off my list!

I ended up conceding to pulling out the cuffs and about 1.5” of sleeve, and then re-knit the cuff. After that and blocking again, it fits great. My only regret is that I should have steamed out the crinkly yarn before knitting it up again, because this affected the evenness of the stitches more than my general tolerance. I’m happy enough with it to not take it out again though; it isn’t super noticeable.

Overall, super thrilled with the piece!
