Knitting this in the round as much as possible.
Ready to sew on the base, then will stuff as I go

Body Mods
Knitted in the round.

Followed standing figure pattern up to change for neck colour…then
Work 5 rounds.
Next round..kfb into every stitch.. 28sts.
Work 9 rounds.
Next round. (k1,k2tog) to last st. k1. 19st
work 1 round.
Next round..(k2tog) to last st, k1.
B and T loosely…leaving a long tail to use to work the nose.
Finish stuffing and draw up tightly.

I could not find my pattern of Alan Darts Angel from his Nativity collection that I adapted before so have copied the wings by studying my own Angel..
The pattern I made up for wings based on his Angel with adaptions is as follows..

Angel Wings

Using white yarn and 3mm needles. make 2.

Starting at the base and working in garter stitch.
Cast on 20 sts.

1…..kfb, k3,kfb,k3,kfb in next 4 sts,k3,kfb,k3,kfb. (28st)
2….Knit 3 rows
5….kfb, k11, kfb in next 4 sts, k11, kfb. (34st)
6….knit 3 rows.
9….kfb,k14, kfb in next 4 sts, k14, kfb. (40st)
10…knit.
11…kfb, knit to last st, kfb. (42) This concludes the base.
Continue in St St for the rest.

Starting with a knit row, st st 8 rows.
Casting off for wing tips..

 *Cast off 5 sts, knit to end.   (37 st)
  Cast off 5 sts, purl to end.   (32 st)
  St St  4  rows. **

Repeat from * to ** until 12 sts left.
St St 4 rows, then cast off.

To make up.

Fold the wing in half , right sides together and starting at cast off edge, stitch around the 12 sts and draw up tight. sew down side, leaving cast on edge open.

Now carefully shape the wing by stitching a line through the wing from wingtip to base for each segment as shown.
Lightly stuff, then sew base closed. repeat with 2nd wing.
Join the wings together at cast on edges and sew to back of angel.

Collar

Cast on 30 sts.
Garter st. 2 rows.
3….k1, k2tog to end……20st.

1. purl.
2. knit.
3. purl. 7.( k2tog ) to end ….10 sts. B and T. loosely. Place around neck and tighten. sew up seam and stitch onto the body around the
   border. I sewed mine on after the first garter ridge of the collar.

Stole

cast on 8 stitches.
Garter stitch approx 47 cms then cast off.
Darn ends into knitting.
Place on Angel, passing it under the wings at the back with both ends threaded under the arms in front.
