Sophie’s Universe #1

Somewhere in late 2019, I bought 5 skeins of “Durable glanskatoen 10” in pale pink - 2 of them unused, 3 ever so slightly used, all good as new - at a second-hand store for €2,50. I figured I’d find just the right pattern for these little gems.

April 2020, I started making Sophie’s Universe with scraps of Scheepjes cotton 8 from the small Ubuntu blanket, designed also by Dedri Uys.
I enjoyed Dedri’s pattern so much that I ordered another 13 skeins at May 5, 2020, (Dutch liberation day) but I had to wait a few day for delivery.
Then I remembered I had these 5 lovely skeins in my stash and I knew Sophie’s Universe was the right project for those 5 lovely skeins.
That moment was Sophie’s Pink big bang.
Another Universe started.
In a lovely pale pink.

I decided to stop after round 59. I still have 2 skeins of that beautiful cotton 10 left and I am going to use those in another project.
For now, the Pink Universe is being blocked so pics will have to wait a few days.
