I cast on 140 stitches (8x2 for the border, 124 for the honeycomb).

I didn’t use the border instructions used in the pattern, instead I knit the border along with the blanket.

The top and bottom end tend to curl, so I blocked the finished blanked using the steam from an iron (just hovering over it, not touching). It helped a bit, but still curled a little. Since this was my first blanket ever, I’m still happy with how it turned out.
