My first attempt at CAL block 5, the heart rose, is 17 cm rather than 19.5 cm wide!

Block 2, Dahlia Bud, is also 17 cm wide and I found this block harder than block 5! Couldn’t get my head around the chains and their placement at the end of one and the beginning of another round so I’ve decided to do chainless treble two stitches together at the beginning of the rounds instead. You need to start the rounds on the middle treble in a petal in order to do this.

I was inspired by ‘srevans’ to make multi-coloured Dahlias.
