A cowl for one of K’s friends at UMass who admired hers. I also made this one smaller than the pattern suggested (88 ribbing rows, rather than 102) based on K’s experience that the cowl wasn’t tight enough around her neck to keep her warm on the windy campus.

I happened to have this yarn in stash (bought because it was super cheap), the same yarn as what I used for K’s cowl but coincidentally in the UMass school color. Perfect!
