For the first section I flip-flopped my Knits and Purls. After “Knit 1r (=wrong side) I started with a knit row for the 12r. However, this meant that I did the eyelets on round 7 instead of 8 so that it would happen on a knit row. After the first set of garter stitch (done with purls) everything seemed to get back on track.

Comment: Wow, this pattern was really confusing. The knit and purl rows don’t match up with the decreases or eyelets. (For example, an eyelet will need to happen on a Knit row but is numbered as happening on a Purl row.)

Was worried about blocking, but ended up not doing it anyway. I just put it under my warm laptop while it charged instead and helped take the edge off of the curling at the bottom. The bow IS on the correct left side (I had taken the picture in a mirror).
