A friend of mine asked if I could come up with a shawl pattern that one could cross over their chest and tie in the back. Something that doesn’t add a lot of bulk but is still warm enough to ward off chill when one is wearing a Regency dress. And most importantly, something that can come in lots of sizes so that Regency enthusiasts of all size can wear it. This is prototype #1.

The crescent shape as I’ve set it up here will never work for what it needs to do. I’m changing this project into my beloved French Cancan and giving the resulting shawl to my sister.
