Knitting garter stitch borders on 2.75 mm as I tend to knit garter much looser than stockinette.

Finally done! That crochet is not for the faint of heart! Took me good three days, and then all pesky ends to weave in, ugh. But soooo worth it! Gorgeous result. Can’t wait for it to dry so I can wear it.

My gauge in the finished garment is 23 st and 33 rows in 10 cm versus 22 st and 31.5 rows in 10 cm in pattern, so it’s a little shorter and narrower but works fine for me. The only drawback is I had to move belt loops one stripe down such that it matches my waist. This involved doing side seams first, trying it on and then doing crochet decor. Otherwise straightforward just time consuming.

All seaming done with one strand of Finch (pomegranate colour).
