Following FiberSpider’s (Craig Liebl) videos, I made each square 6 blocks across, and each of the 5 rows were 5 squares across. Odd rows were alternating black & burgundy. Even rows were alternating burgundy & red.

My daughter and her Boston Terrier, Peyton, each have pajamas in the lumberjack pattern. Peyton even has a lumberjack coat & hat! So when I saw how easy it was to make a gingham afghan with the corner-to-corner style, thanks to Craig Liebl (FiberSpider), I decided to try it. The full-size one came out so nice, I decided to make a smaller, dog-size one (5x5 squares) for Peyton! This will be a total surprise for them, since she’s always saying she has enough afghans. But I just couldn’t resist this one.
