eta: finished! Doing his jumpsuit intarsia-style was a great big mess so I gave up on that and just stitched the fur on top of the body. MUCH BETTER. His head’s slightly too big (the fur is much thicker than the dk I used everywhere else), and he’s a bit twisted in the photos so it looks like the v in his suit is off-centre when it’s really not, but it’s good enough. :D
