Notes

PauseUnpause is another YouTube personality, also participating in the Mindcrack (Minecraft) server with VintageBeef. They’re both Canadian and have done multiple adventures together on the server.

I actually started Pause first, but I got the scale for his arms and legs all wrong for the torso I made to match, so I set the first set of limbs aside and worked out the flat pattern with panels instead. (For reference, his arms and legs were worked in the round as amigurumi and the pixels were represented as 2x2.)

Beef is actually the first successful plush made with the flat panels, although the principle originated with Pause’s torso. So now I’m going back and reworking Pause’s arms and legs. Good thing I hadn’t started his head!

Finished piece should measure about 2.5 feet.

The headdress was worked separately in eight pieces due to the gaps in the side and front panels. I actually attached it in eight places to the stuffed head using bobby pins, so I can remove it in case I ever want to try making armor or other accessories.

Team Canada!
