Making a grannyghan using a basic granny square in different sizes and color combos, using up as much of my collection of Souk and Casablanca as possible, with some Silk Garden and whatever else I have handy thrown in for good measure. I’m liking it so far!

Layout is based on a design I drew and my hubby formalized in Illustrator. I then printed out a few copies, got out my crayons, and went to town coloring it. I’m sort of following what I’ve colored, but not exactly due to not having as much of some colors as I thought I did, and having rather more of other colors than expected. So, it’s mostly just following the layout while letting my color instinct guide me for combinations.

The main body came out lapghan sized, and I wanted it bigger, so I added two rounds around the circumference and then a medium square and two small squares at each corner, then filled in the sides with 8 rows of stripes. So far so good!
