I wanted a pattern that matched the slow never ending undulation of Lake Michigan, which inspired this gorgeous yarn by Plucky Knitter in an exclusive color for Wool and Honey, called Manitou. Manitou means spirit - that life force that flows through all things living and not - and this beauty embodies the spirit of the Big Water so perfectly.

An easy to follow pattern, though the chart has a k3tog symbol sometimes and that is not in the key, so be aware. All in all a quick knit; I set the project down for a few weeks, so really it took just a couple weeks of evenings to knit the whole thing.
