This pattern is knit in 5 separate pieces (front-right, front-left, back, two sleeves) and sewn together at the end. I wouldn’t recommend trying to knit this in-the-round.

The pattern doesn’t specify the finished length. So based on my calculations…approximately 110 rows in length/4sts per 1” = 27.5” long.

Knit Picks Brava Bulky matches the pattern specifications and gauge perfectly.

11/6/2015: Picking this up after a loooooong hiatus. I started this project in 2013, so I learned a lot during that time. I’m a little confused by some of the choices I made at first-go-round with this sweater, but instead of starting from scratch, I’m just going to keep moving forward and trust my original ideas.

11/10/15: both sleeves are finally done, onto the shawl-collar.

11/12/15: Shawl Collar done! Time to seam it all together :)

What I didn’t do, but wish I had:

• Knit or Purl 2 stitches before the increases/decreases - this ensures you get a nice edge to work with when you have to seem up the pieces at the very end
• Slip the first stitch of your garter stitch edge to ensure a nice clean looking edge.
• Made this as a raglan style sweater instead of set-in sleeves.
