Notes

I am delighted to be taking part in the testing of Valentina’s new sweater. I was immediately drawn to the pattern, and I also like the collar, which fits well.
There are two options to choose from: lace or textured. I opted for the textured one with fewer holes so that I can wear this beauty during the winter.

I decided to choose the yarn in Helsinki because I wanted to see the different options available and my family and I were travelling there anyway. The best yarn for this pattern, however, turned out to be the well-known Sandnes yarn, Double Sunday, which I bought from the wonderful Snurre yarn store. My daughter helped me choose the colour, a lighter green this time.

The pattern is fantastic, and although the choice of textured pattern seemed wrong at first, as my hands quickly got tired with the relatively thick yarn, everything became easier with the new pattern repeats.

The sleeves can be knitted in several different lengths. I opted for long sleeves as my Fayna is quite warm and ideal for winter.
My Fayna sleeve ribs have 60 rounds, and the sleeve length, measured from the armhole, is 40 cm.

My Fayna is ready to be washed and will be ready for photos soon.

The model was my dear daughter.
