While cleaning up / reorganizing my yarn stash, I found that I had SO MANY partial leftover balls of worsted and heavy worsted yarns… so I sorted them into the light-worsted range and the aran range, and I’m first making this sweater with the heavier, then plan to make another project with the lighter. So all the yarns here range from the heavier side of worsted to aran to the lighter side of bulky, and I’m hoping the gauge evens out enough with the stripes.

I plan to keep the garter ridge stripes neutrals (or neutral-ish) and the wide stripes colors, but we’ll see how it goes. I did minimal planning ahead for color placement; I pretty much have a giant bin of yarn and when one color runs out, I pick the next.

Not planning on any mods to the pattern (except the addition of stripes, obviously). Fingers crossed this all works out well!!

But I finished the project! Finally. It was basically on hold through the summer, then I did the cowl neck very slowly for the past couple of months. Yay it’s done!
