A hooded cape with a dragon face for my Terezi Pyrope cosplay.

I’ve folded the cast-on edge in half and sewed it together so it looks like an actual hood. The pattern doesn’t say to do this anywhere, so I was hesitant, but I think that’s how it’s supposed to work.

08-01-2016

Added crocheted snout and eyes. The whole thing now looks like a dopey Muppet. Thinking about adding spikes down the back, but will wait till I’ve made more of it to decide.

Ran out of yarn. Cape now measures 23 inches from crown of hood; putting project on hold until more yarn arrives.

The yarn has arrived!

27 inches. I think the total length will be 50 inches.

I’m tired of working on this, so I’m going to declare it done at about half length. Finished up with an inch of seed stitch.
