I started this as a Line Dance by Heidi Kirrmaier. I was 2/3 done when I realized the bulk of the garter, even though the design was BRILLIANT, wouldn’t suit my size and shape. Here are those notes: The use of the word “set” for two separate processes was very confusing for me initially. It helped me to realize that there are four types of increase templates which are repeated in sets. A schematic for the yoke in each size would have been helpful.

It was very helpful for me to use coilless safety pins so I could keep track of row 1 of each set. That way I could not only count the row within the set, I could count the number of sets. The instructions do not include complete, row by row instructions but the segments of instructions which are repeated differing times for specific sizes.
