so i really love this sweater! it might be my favorite ever.
i also love the yarn, even though i wanted to try to shelter tweed. next time. this is one of my favorite colors too. i really enjoyed the pattern and was sad for this sweater to end.
i did a few of the mods out there that other people have done. i knit the collar on 4s because while i wanted it to be stiff enough to stand up, i didn’t want to lose the bigness (i love that about the collar). i cast on 100 for the collar and then increased 12 stitches on the first bodice row. i think i followed everything else to the t. i was worried the extra small might be too small but i err on the side of looser knitting so it’s perfect. i used smaller buttons because i couldn’t find any in stores i liked so took from my button box. i was short one and left it off the bottom, where i am sure i will not miss it.
