yes ,!fininshed in time for christmas.
will knit blanket for wrong side during christmas break, as hes worried about toes poking through .
This is a long term project! cast on 400sts plus steek.
Wanted to knit the boy an adult sized blanket as his brother got one from me last Christmas,
Hes helping to pick out paterns and chart them out on stitchfiddle,
First time doing a steek, using 40”long needle, may switch to 36” not sure yet . Any advice would be welcome.

Still working on this monster.. love doing it though ,each row takes about 25minutes…!still havent decided on center panel plain knit or colour work ,cable pattern maybe.?

thinking about doing a life line so to graft and steek the borders to the centre panel ,as the blanket is over 6.5 ‘ wide i could halve the work done so far to use what i have done as top and bottom borders ,making it 3.5’ wide and as long as i need. Less intimidating this way as the thought of having to repeat the border again is too overwhelming….hoping for ~4’×6’
