I love this pattern and enjoyed making these! I couldn’t find yarn with shimmer in the right color for the shiny, so I added Sulky holoshimmer gold thread. Other than that, the only thing I changed was the drawstring. The bags were difficult to open and close when constructed as directed in the pattern (sewing yellow yarn into the interior stitches of the bag), so I added yellow cord and crocheted over it for Row 36. I started in the last 5 stitches of Row 35, leaving one end of the cord hanging out, and continued through the first 5 stitches of Row 37. the result was much easier to use, so I unraveled the last few rows of the orange magikarp and reworked them with the cord.

I’m definitely going to make more of these as gifts for friends!
