I used stash I Love This Yarn for this project. This is my second time through the pattern, and it was a lot easier this time because I had my previous notes.. I made the same modifications as the last time I made it, but I’ll list them here too.

-I used a continuous spiral the whole time instead of slip stitching at the end of each round. It worked out fine this way.
-I followed my charted instructions from the first time for the increases on the head. I would highly recommend charting out the directions here; you’ll catch the mistakes in the pattern this way.
-For round 10 of the body, I worked through the back loop only. Then I used the front loops to attach the skirt.
-I added a round on the body: sc2tog, sc 2 around. This way the head and the body had the same number of stitches, which made attaching easier.
-For the arms, I didn’t decrease on round 12. I just single crocheted around.
-I followed the written instructions (rather than the charted instructions) to make the skirt. So there is a picot for every double crochet. I did three double crochets in each chain space, and one in each single crochet.
-I lightly stuffed the ears, and whip-stitched them closed before attaching. I attached them to rounds 1-8 of the head.
-This is the flower I made, rather than following the one in the pattern.
