In which I test-knit a lovely little pleated tank by Ainur Berkimbayeva.

Notes:

• My bust hovers between 35-36”, so I decided to knit Size 1 (39”) for approximately 3-4” of ease.
• Perfect gauge on Size 3 needles - woo hoo! Because I am a dutiful test knitter, not only did I swatch, but I also wet-blocked the aforementioned swatch. This is unprecedented, because I am all about that renegade swatch-free living.
• As part of my Stash Only resolution, I used bits of Lindy Chain from the stash - turmeric for the front and coral for the back.

At time of writing, it is far too hot to wear anything other than breezy linen tops, and I’m happy to welcome this addition to my closet. Lindy Chain is one of my ride-or-dies - like, I’ve knit a thousand tops from the stuff, all of which are on constant rotation - and pairs great with this pattern.

As for said pattern: Well-written and straightforward with enough interesting construction bits to hold my attention. This is my second FO from one of Ainur’s patterns in 2021 and certainly won’t be the last.

Note that I’ve done a half-tuck in some of these photos, hence the appearance of a shorter length.
