My first testknit for Lyudmila Aksenik, mrs knowall is a classic colorwork yoke sweater, inspired by the Northern Lights… happy to test knit this great design!
Yoke is done
First knit with bust-darts: gives a perfect fit!
I’m a little bit disappointed about the color range of my CC yarn. As we are in lockdown, I needed to order the yarn for my project online. I knew, it’s a long gradient over 3 skeins. But in the one I’ve gotten, is no lilac, no yellow as expected, only offwhite, a little greenish and a lot grey, which is unfortunatly a little to less contrast to my MC yarn. Anyway, in result it’s okay.
I knitted the ribbings with needle 3mm, the colorwork with 3,5mm, body and sleeves with 3,25mm.
I used italian cast on for the neckband and bind off the ribbings in I-Cord.
The pattern is well written and explain all required techniques.
