02/10/13: I hated the way the sc looked so I switched to hdc for the rows of Linen and sc for the rows of Taupe with a couple of the in between rows being dc for a change. All edges SS. I also used the “flat braid” joining technique used by http://www.ravelry.com/people/LazyTcrochet on her “Wildwood Capelet”.

I am following the same measurements and directions for piecing together but I am using a sc stitch. I’m making this for my husband to wear around the house on cold mornings and he wants a more solid fabric, hence the sc stitch.
