Not a complicated pattern but the translation of the pattern from German is a bit awkward.

I knit from charts so here’s my clarification of the pattern:

CO 102 stitches and join in a round.

Knit 10cm 1x1 rib on 4mm needles.

Change to 5mm needles and knit one round increasing +10 stitches to finish with 112 stitches.

Divide them into 4 x 28 stitches (either add stitch markers or divide on 4 DPNs.)

Knit chart 1 (it repeats in its entirety 4 times per round).

Repeat the whole chart twice, then knit rounds 1-10 once more.

Instead of the 11th round of chart 1, knit the first round of Chart 2. Now knit the rest of chart 2 once.

I did an extra round of k2tog to finish with 8 stitches and closed the end by threading the stitches onto the end of the wool. I added a sloppy pom pom.
